Jamie Le Tissier

One of Guernsey's most well-known dancers made the decision to turn professional in response to demand for lessons on the island.
Jamie  Le Tissier turned professional at the end of 2009 largely to be able to teach more proficiently.
Jamie said: "It was the demand in Guernsey that made me decide to turn pro."

As well as teaching, I am eligible to enter  professional competitions.

Jamie said that the most popular dance to learn in Guernsey recently seemed to be the Argentine Tango.
He put this down to to the fact "it's a strong dance and teaches a lot of coordination".

2009 and 2010 have been a very exciting start to my Professional career, starting with passing my professional qualifications, then   set up a dance school "LeT's Dance School" and have had a fantastic result in the first school medal test, with 100% pass rate.  have ran dance competitions locally, one in May and one in October for Children and Adults, with wonderfull feedback. We have also choreographed two major companies in Guernsey for their own version of Strictly Come Dancing the first being Sportingbet and having guest judges over, Kenny & Gabby Logan. And the second was Specsavers and guest judge Arlene Philips. Quote

I loved judging the Specsaver dance competition.
All the contestants were so well taught with exciting choreography to watch, which I know  you created.
Thank you,

Arlene"

Bonnie Lehr :

I started to dance when she was six, with many other styles of country and western swing, my cultural dancing has brought me here from Canada, to study as a Ballroom and Latin American and Argentine Teacher.

I love this aspect in dance sport even as a child and always dreamed of becoming a dancer/teacher. Enjoying all aspects I am learning, and teaching in my study with the Le Tissiers "Lets Dance" and G.A.D.A. So far, the whole experience has been exceptional cause I get to train with the other mentors who are listed above me. Knowing, my country and family and friends are standing behind me, pushes me to keep dancing, and fulfilling my dreams.
